Browser notifications
Push signup is being prepared while the site is private. Once enabled, use the notification control below to choose approved Missing Person cases, Missing Faces articles and news, or both. You can return here to change your choices or unsubscribe.
Push timing is set by Missing Faces for the whole site. Individual daily or weekly push schedules are not available. The daily and weekly choices below apply to email updates.
iPhone and iPad
Use iOS/iPadOS 16.4 or newer. Open Missing Faces in Safari, tap Share, choose Add to Home Screen, then tap Add. Open Missing Faces from its new Home Screen icon. Tap Enable notifications and choose Allow. Opening the site from the Home Screen icon is required for iPhone push notifications.
Android
Open Missing Faces in a supported browser such as Chrome. Tap Enable notifications, then Allow in the browser prompt. Adding the site to your Home Screen is optional. Avoid private browsing when signing up.
If notifications do not arrive
Check your browser and device notification permissions, and check whether Focus or Do Not Disturb is silencing alerts. On iPhone, open the Home Screen version of Missing Faces. Email updates offer another way to stay informed.
Email updates
Choose your topics and a daily or weekly digest. Email updates are prepared by Missing Faces. Your email is used for subscriptions and is never shown on public case profiles. Every email includes an unsubscribe option.
